She performed with her band at the celebrations in Louisville, and the next day she travelled to Europe and Switzerland for the first time in her life – following the trail of her ancestors. She gave a brilliant performance at the music festival in Einsiedeln, before meeting with various relatives. She was overwhelmed. This trip meant a great deal to Brigid personally, and caused her to reflect on the current situation in the USA and in in the world in general.
