St. Meinrad Archabbey
At the St. Meinrad Archabbey in Indiana, the EAE visitors moves on swiftly to a visit to the Benedictine abbey.
Rt. Rev. Kurt Stasiak talks of the relationships between the archabbey and its mother abbey in Einsiedeln, and how history is also so influential for him personally. The archabbey – one of only two in the USA – is also an international theological training center with around 120 students. The travelers admire the Black Madonna in the beautiful abbey church, and in the abbey shop, the visitors from Einsiedeln reflect on the future of the sale of devotional objects.
